Arusha National Park, A scenic gem often overlooked, featuring the gentle slopes of Mount Meru, lush rainforests, and crater lakes. Lake Manyara National Park, A beautiful and compact park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It’s a place of stunning variety, from its alkaline lake populated by thousands of flamingos to its dense groundwater forest. It’s famously known for its rare tree-climbing lions.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, and after clearing all the immigration and custom formalities, you will have a meet and greet with your private driver and professional safari guide, arriving at your hotel in time for relaxation and a hot shower. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and recuperate from your travelling. Dinner and overnight.
Arusha is a small park, just 552km2(including Mount Meru) and lies on the northern safari circuit between Kilimanjaro and Serengeti. It is also located 25km east of Arusha town, 58 km from Moshi and 35km from Kilimanjaro Airport. There are three distinct areas within the park, the Ngurdoto crater, Momella lakes and Mount Meru, which dominates the area.
The altitudinal range is 1500m to 4565m at the summit of Mount Meru. The cluster of seven Momella lake are alkaline, as with many others in the Rift valley, but there are also several freshwater lakes in the East. After breakfast your adventure sets off to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives around the park with a picnic lunch in a beautiful natural location. after an exciting day of game viewing, you will drive for dinner and overnight.
Early in the morning driver will take to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives of this very diverse park with Flamingo, Savanna Elephant, Hippopotamus in Simba River, Maasai Giraffe, Impala, and white bearded Wildebeest. If you are lucky, you may see the famous tree climbing lions. We enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush followed by game drives until mid-afternoon. When ready in the park, we make our way out of the park to Arusha for overnight accommodation.
