Owner’s Story
The vision began in 2018, when I, Alex Elia Onyango, whose own life challenges led him to climb Mount Kilimanjaro as a porter. During that journey, I reflected deeply on ideas for my own tourism business. As I climbed with my book in hand “WHO SAYS YOU CAN’T DO IT, DO IT,” by Daniel Chidiac, I was inspired by the phrase, “What has been meant to be it has to be.” After I completed the trek, I spent the following months gradually putting my business idea into action. This led to the founding of Wildsmile Adventures, rooted in a passion for travel and a desire to create meaningful experiences. The company lives by its core values: “Make Every Moment Count” “We Are About People” “Travel. Together.” (connecting travelers, cultures, and nature).
