Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, our representative will meet you and drive you to your hotel for a first evening in Tanzania. Arusha is a major international diplomatic hub. The city hosts and is regarded as the de facto capital of the East African Community. Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks. Situated below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, it has a mild climate.

The road transfer from the Kilimanjaro International Airport to your lodge will take about 1 hour 15 minutes, so sit back and enjoy the ride through the city's sub-urban arriving at your lodge for a well deserved overnight.

Early morning you will be picked up from your hotel and be driven to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing and photographing. The drive will take about 3 hours. Named after the river that flows through the park, Tarangire National Park is one of the lesser-known Tanzanian National Parks, giving it a real air of undiscovered Africa.

Famous for its tree climbing pythons, massive baobabs and large herds of elephant, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population, with a density of wildlife matched only by Ngorongoro. Birding is particularly good here; the swamps, tinged green year-round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties; the most breeding species in one habitat

Today is committed to a full day game drive safari in Tarangire National Park. Imagine hundreds of zebra stripes reflecting in still waters. Imagine the looming silhouette of elephants burnt into the crimson sunset. Imagine the sight of ghostly baobab trees scattered across shimmering grasslands. These features are not figments of imagination – these features are just a taste of what Tarangire is all about!

The most spectacular feature of Tarangire is that it serves as a place of refuge for the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania. Elephant viewing in Tarangire is outstanding and it is likely that you will see hundreds of elephants in a single day. Set against stunning scenery, elephant viewing will undoubtedly prove to be one of the biggest highlights for a safari in Tarangire. Tarangire is an incredible park that will reserve a special place in your heart and memories.

This morning you will leave for Ngorongoro Crater after a freshly prepared breakfast at the lodge. Ngorongoro crater, the main feature is a large, unbroken, unfolded volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago, is 610m (2,000 ft.) deep and its floor covers 260 km² (100 sq. mi). The crater floor is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas dominated by Acacia xanthophloea.

Game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater begin early in the morning in closed safari vehicles with pop – up roofs. Accompanied by an expert driver guide, a magnificent experience is sure to be had! The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty, as you make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffalo.

As you reach the inside of the Ngorongoro Crater, marveling at the incredible landscape around you, your guide will take you through the grassy crater floor, the unbelievable fever tree forest, the banks of Lake Magadi and the surrounding marshes.

Lunch is served picnic style, surrounded by the natural wonders around you as well as the exceptional wildlife, roaming freely, with which you share this extraordinary paradise. After lunch you will proceed with an afternoon of game viewing and photographing and as your game drive ends you will ascend from the crater's floor and drive to your lodge arriving in time for dinner and overnight.

This morning, you will leave your lodge heading towards the Serengeti National Park. You will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and onto the Serengeti plains driving through the Nabii gate. We will see wildlife along the way, and of course when we reach Serengeti National Park you will have the chance to see the many animals that make the park so famous.

The best vantage points and worthwhile areas are chosen to give you the best possible chance to observe animals and to capture your perfect photo. You will stop for a picnic lunch along the way. The Serengeti Plain is a natural savanna 60,000 square kilometers straddling Tanzania and Kenya. Serengeti means "endless plains" in the Maa language. His herbivore population plays a major role in the conservation of open, controlled by thousands of large carnivore predators.

The most common species are the black wildebeest, gazelle, zebra and African buffalo. The cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. The hippo groups can be seen in large pools and rivers as crocodiles are sunbathing on the banks. 

After an action-packed game drive, you will be driven to your camp / lodge in time to for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. Serengeti National Park quite simply offers the finest game viewing in all of Africa. Unrivaled concentrations of wildlife, stunningly beautiful landscapes and vast pristine areas make this region our number one pick.

You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day. Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti.

After lunch you will continue on a game drive. Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion. Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey. Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks. You will return to Camp in time to enjoy a sundowner before your evening meal.

Morning departure for a safari through the famous Serengeti. The Serengeti Plain is a natural savannah straddling Tanzania and Kenya. The most common species found in the "endless plains" are black wildebeest, impala, zebra and buffalo. It also includes jackals, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, elephants, almost all types of antelopes and a rich bird life where birds of prey, big and small, and a various species of vultures are well represented. The Serengeti is probably the most famous game reserve in Tanzania. The park covers 14,763 km square, but the ecosystem is much larger, extending over the Masai Mara, Kenya and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Today we will drive to Karatu. You will enjoy a last-minute game drive in Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way. Enjoy this last chance to view the amazing wildlife and landscapes of this beautiful area! It is also a day to recuperate, relax at the hotel and savor a delicious dinner.

Today you will have a leisurely morning at the lodge. Sit back and enjoy your breakfast as you take in the breathtaking views of the Rift Valley escarpment and Lake Manyara. After breakfast you will checkout and head back to Arusha. Along the way you will stop for a last-minute souvenir shopping. Your driver guide will drop you off at the Arusha Airport for your onwards flight to your next destination.

On the first day (Day 8 of the trip), you will transfer by air from mainland Tanzania to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a private road transfer will take you directly to your pre-booked beach resort on the north coast, where you will check in and have the remainder of the day free to acclimate. The evening is reserved for a casual welcome activity, such as watching the sunset from the beach.

The second day (Day 9) is primarily dedicated to an organized marine excursion. You will join a scheduled group boat trip to the Mnemba Atoll marine conservation area for a half-day of snorkeling. This trip typically includes snorkeling equipment, guidance, and lunch served on board. The afternoon is unscheduled, allowing for independent time at the resort or on the beach. In the evening, you will arrange your own dinner, with a recommendation to try one of the local beachfront seafood restaurants.

The third day (Day 10) offers a choice of a cultural or conservation-oriented activity in the morning. You can opt for a visit to a local village and seaweed farming cooperative or a tour of the Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond. The afternoon is again free for personal leisure. A pre-booked sunset dhow cruise is scheduled for the late afternoon, which involves sailing on a traditional boat with opportunities for swimming and includes non-alcoholic refreshments. Dinner arrangements are left to your discretion.

The final day (Day 11) involves checking out of your north coast resort in the late morning. You will then take a private transfer to Stone Town, with the journey taking approximately 90 minutes. Depending on your flight schedule, you will have a period of free time in Stone Town. This time can be used for independent exploration of the historic quarter, last-minute shopping at the markets, or visiting a café. A final transfer will be provided to take you from Stone Town to Zanzibar International Airport in time for your departing flight the coming day.
